Create Your Account & Set Up Profile
Start by visiting the WorkCentral registration page and creating your free account.
Account Setup Checklist:
- Choose a strong password and verify your email
- Complete your business profile (company name, address, phone)
- Upload your logo (appears on quotes and invoices)
- Set your default currency and timezone
Pro Tip: Complete your profile information now - it automatically appears on all your quotes and invoices, making them look more professional.

Add Your First Client
Navigate to the Clients section and add your first client. This information will be used on quotes and invoices.
Required Client Information:
- Company/Person Name: Who you're working with
- Contact Email: Where quotes and invoices are sent
- Billing Address: For tax and legal compliance
- Main Contact Person: Your primary point of contact
Optional (but helpful):
- Phone Number: For quick communication
- Website: Helpful for project context
- Notes: Special requirements, preferences, etc.
Time estimate: 1-2 minutes per client
Create Your First Quote
This is where WorkCentral really shines. You can create quotes manually or use AI assistance to speed up the process dramatically.
Option A: Manual Quote Creation
- 1. Click "New Quote" and select your client
- 2. Add a descriptive title (e.g., "Website Redesign - Phase 1")
- 3. Add line items with descriptions, quantities, and rates
- 4. Set project timeline and payment terms
- 5. Review and customize the quote template
Option B: AI-Powered Quote Creation
Note: AI features are available on all plans (Free, Professional, and Business). You provide your own OpenAI API key — setup takes about 3 minutes. See our AI Setup Guide for details.
- 1. Click "New Quote" and select "Generate with AI"
- 2. Describe your project in plain English (e.g., "Build a 5-page WordPress website with contact forms and blog")
- 3. AI generates detailed line items with time estimates
- 4. Review and adjust the generated quote as needed
- 5. Customize formatting and send to client

Send Quote & Track Response
Once your quote is ready, WorkCentral makes it easy to send professionally and track client engagement.
Sending Your Quote:
- 1. Preview the quote to ensure everything looks professional
- 2. Add a personal message (template provided)
- 3. Click "Send Quote" - client receives email with PDF attachment
- 4. Quote status updates automatically when client views it
What Happens Next:
- • Client can accept quote directly through email link
- • You get notified immediately when quote is accepted
- • Accepted quotes automatically create projects (see Step 5)
- • Client questions/comments come through your dashboard

From Quote to Project (Automatic!)
This is where WorkCentral's workflow integration really saves time. When a client accepts your quote, everything you need to deliver the project is automatically set up.
What Happens Automatically:
- Project created with quote details

- Invoice template prepared for project completion
