Notification Preferences

Control which notifications you receive via in-app alerts and email, including digest frequency options

What You'll Learn

  • Configure in-app and email notifications per category
  • Set email digest frequency (immediately, daily, weekly)
  • Understand payment notification settings (Business plan)
  • Choose your digest delivery time

Business Notifications

Each notification category has three controls: an in-app toggle, an email toggle, and an email frequency selector. Navigate to Settings → Notifications to configure them.

Business Plan: Admin Payment Access

Organization owners on the Business plan can grant payment notification access to admin team members:

  • Enable Payment Notifications for Admins at the organization level
  • Select which admin users should receive payment notifications

Non-Business plans see an upgrade prompt for this feature.

Email Digest Preferences

If any of your notification categories use a daily or weekly digest frequency, you can choose when that digest email arrives.

Morning

Digest delivered at 8:00 AM

Noon

Digest delivered at 12:00 PM

Evening

Digest delivered at 6:00 PM

No Email Digests

Disable digest emails entirely

Note: The digest time option only appears if at least one notification category is set to daily or weekly frequency. If all categories use "Immediately," there's no digest to schedule.

How It All Fits Together

Notification preferences are stored per user, not per organization. Each team member can configure their own notification settings independently.

1

Choose Your Channels

For each category, decide whether you want in-app alerts, email notifications, or both.

2

Set Email Frequency

For categories with email enabled, choose between immediate delivery, daily digest, or weekly digest.

3

Pick Your Digest Time

If using daily or weekly digests, choose when they arrive — morning, noon, or evening.

Pro Tip

Use daily digests instead of immediate emails to reduce inbox noise. You'll get one summary email per day instead of individual notifications for every event.

Stay Informed, Not Overwhelmed

With notification preferences configured, you'll:

  • Get notified about the things that matter to you
  • Control email volume with digest options
  • Keep your team aligned with payment alerts (Business plan)
